Surrogates Movie Review
The beginning of Surrogates was quite intriguing as they progress through time to show the progression of surrogates and how they became a standard way of life.
The graphics and effects were very good just a few cheesy scenes with mutilated robots shooting green mystery fluid. The makeup that made real actors look like robots trying that are trying to look real was exceptional.
Although the plot was a bit predictable in the beginning, there were a couple of surprises throughout the movie. There was a bit of a message from the movie that even I myself can take and apply to my daily life, even though we don’t have surrogates we have came to a point where we have almost a virtual existence, granted we do go out and live but how much of our daily dialogue is taken place via text, email or chat? I know that for me its a lot. Now im not saying that after watching this movie I’m gonna toss the blackberry, iphone, laptop but it did make me think a little which is never a bad thing.
Overall: Excellent movie, would recommend to anyone. Clean as a family flick as well.
